Offering Support to Survivors & their Families

The Sammie Lee Foundation

The Sammie Lee Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in honor of Sammie Lee Johnson, a victim of domestic abuse who was tragically killed by her estranged husband in a murder-suicide in 1958.

"Look for 3 things in a person- intelligence, energy, and integrity. If they don't have the last one, don't even bother with the first two."

-WARREN BUFFETT

At the Sammie Lee Foundation, we advocate for justice in cases such as domestic abuse, missing and exploited children, and other sensitive subjects while ensuring our clients have the support they need.

We offer our services to individuals who are disadvantaged due to their circumstances and bring purpose into their turmoil. To do this, our foundation partners with Falcon R.I.M. LLC to aid in their pro-bono cases for clients who cannot afford their services but desperately need them. Each pro bono case costs between $6,000 and $10,000 or more. The services rendered per case may include investigative work, lab tests, travel, and lodging for the families. In addition to these services, we offer life and wellness coaching and consulting to help them find legal representation.

Who We Help

Our past clients include survivors of domestic abuse, families suffering from wrongful deaths, women or men whose children suffer at the hands of their exes, parents of missing children, and many others. There is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to the people who may need the help of investigative services, life coaching, or even advice on how they should best proceed. If you feel you have need of our services, please reach out to us at 432-218-7894. Our foundation serves the entire Permian Basin and the Dallas Fort-Worth Metropolitan areas.

Statement from the Foundation President

My name is Rebecca, and Sammie Lee Johnson was my grandmother, a woman of great strength and courage. After years of suffering from domestic abuse at the hands of my grandfather, and despite the fear and loneliness she endured, Sammie Lee made the brave decision to leave her husband with her three children. In the face of uncertainty and danger, Sammie Lee found refuge for herself and her children. She was alone with little recourse and no one to advocate for her. One of those three children was my father, a man who has carried on the strength and resilience instilled in him by his mother, Sammie Lee. My grandmother’s struggles and determination inspired me to establish the Sammie Lee Foundation. In honor of Sammie, my wish for the foundation is to provide justice for as many people as possible.

"Put more trust in nobility of character than in an oath."

-SOLON
